Frequently asked questions

How do I book a charter?

Simple. Call 954-629-0211 or go to the book online section and follow the instructions.

What is included?

Bait, ice, fuel, tackle, licenses

What do I need to bring?

Hat, sunglasses, sunblock, small cooler, drinks & snacks

What if we have to cut the trip short?

Payment in full is expected if we leave the dock.

When is the best time to fish?

Whenever you can go!

What if we want to mount a fish for the wall?

Trophy mounts are arranged by the captain through Gray Taxidermy. It is a good idea to advise the captain ahead of time that you may be interested in this option as it may influence his decision on how and what to fish for.

What is your catch & release policy?

All sailfish and sharks are released.

Do I need a fishing license?

No. The boat covers all licenses.

How many people can you take?

Although we can take up to 4 people, 2-3 is ideal.

What time do trips begin?

Typically half-day trips leave at 8am & 1 pm. However we do our best to work around your plans. Longer trips are easier to schedule.

Do you do split-charters?

Splits are available. However it is difficult to arrange as the boat is not on a public dock.

Are there any extras?

If your goal is to catch a sailfish, we strongly encourage you to purchase live goggle eyes. These are premium baits, and carry a premium price, but they are well worth it! Tipping the captain 20% is customary. He works hard to ensure each trip is successful.

What not to do?

No glass bottles, bananas or drugs!

What happens to eating fish?

The captain fillets and bags your catch!
